Support for your bookkeeping: debtor management with commercial dunning
An easy way to bring order to your bookkeeping: manage your debtors even outside an existing ERP system, report balances to bookkeeping and automate your commercial dunning process. To be on the safe side: all data can also be used for the RiskManagement module.
Whether it’s collective or individual accounts, the Commerce Cloud can provide efficient and reliable support for your bookkeeping. Our debtor management system offers extensive functionality, including the assignment of invoices and credit notes, payment bookings, direct debits and credit card processing, as well as reconciliation with your accounting department. Particularly practical: you can allocate your revenues to freely configurable revenue and contra revenue accounts, and post revenues independently from product categories and assignments.
separation of existing bookkeeping from eCommerce processes
changes to eCommerce payment streams do not entail changes in the finance systems
simplification and automation of allocations to accounts
reduction in accounts entries and debtors through collective debtor processing
improved inflow of liquidity through automated dunning
reduced risk by including the data in the RiskManagement module
Management of accounts receivable
An internal accounts receivable account is created and managed for each customer and currency. Each accounts receivable account has an internal reference. You can assign the external debtor number yourself from a defined series of numbers. Each entry in the accounts has a document reference.
Posting documents and payments
Collective settlements for credit cards or Amazon accounts can also be assigned automatically to the individual transactions. However, selective manual corrections are still possible at every point.
Balance reporting to customer finance systems
All entries can be exported in DATEV format. Individual debtor processing: export the entries to accounts receivable accounts level. Collective debtor processing: export the entries to the collective debtor level for the bookkeeping software. You define collective debtors depending on the sales channel and payment type. You can also handle a combination of collective and individual debtor processes. Collective debtor processing serves purely to simplify the transfer to the accounts system and to reduce the number of documents and debtors. Internally the system works entirely at the individual debtor level.
Debt collection management
Define the desired number of dunning levels and dunning actions. You can freely combine any of the options and also issue a dunning block for a customer. After a period of time which you have defined, dunning notifications can be automatically sent by email at the demand level. This so-called trivial debtor processing is used provided no credit payment methods are envisaged.
