"For the launch of our online store, we were looking for an enterprise resource management system which is specifically tailored to e-commerce processes. The solution needed to function as a B2C e-business extension to our existing ERP without significant adjustment costs," explains Engelbert Fleischmann, Head of IT and Processes at SCHIESSER. The ROQQIO Commerce Cloud is our proprietary development. It is specifically geared to the needs of e-commerce and works with full automation along the entire e-business process chain: from central product data administration to comprehensive order management and their follow-up processes. High performance multi-channel modules integrate powerful third-party sales channels like Amazon, eBay or and can integrate specialist retailers and branches as needed.

"Our ROQQIO Commerce Cloud includes a variety of interfaces as standard in order to enable the integration of third-party systems," explains Managing Director, Thomas Franke. "Accordingly, the ROQQIO system can be connected to online retail systems such as OXID eShop (the system behind SCHIESSR's online store) without considerable cost and effort." 

Standardised connections

Connection to relevant payment and logistics partners via the Engine is equally straightforward and flexible. The connection of the SCHIESSER online store to the logistics partner DHL and the payment systems PayPal and Heidelpay credit card was accomplished via the standardised integrations with no need for further adjustment.

"With the ROQQIO Commerce Cloud, we've chosen a future-oriented solution with which we can expand our e-business at any time," says Fleischmann. "The extensive integration layer makes connection to other distribution channels possible without requiring extensive programming on our part."

Centralised data maintenance

At SCHIESSER, the modular ROQQIO Commerce Cloud is in operation using all relevant e-commerce modules; central data maintenance, logistics management, automated order forwarding to the logistics providers, as well as CRM functions for the processing of all downstream communications with the goods recipient.
